Sound Healing in Tamraght: What to Expect
There's something about Tamraght that makes the body remember.
Maybe it's the way the Atlantic meets the cliffs. The salt in the air. The light that shifts from gold to silver in a breath.
Or maybe it's just that this is a place between places. Land and sea. Movement and stillness. Arrival and becoming.
This is where I'm bringing sound healing.
Not the performative kind. Not the "heal all your trauma in 60 minutes" promises.
The grounded, regulating, let-your-nervous-system-finally-exhale kind.
What Sound Healing Actually Is (And Isn't)
Sound healing isn't magic. It's not a fix.
It's a container.
A space where your body gets permission to soften, to release what it's been holding, to land in the present moment without needing to do anything at all.
I work with crystal bowls, gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, and shamanic instruments, each chosen for how they speak directly to the nervous system. The frequencies move through you, not at you. They don't force anything open. They simply invite.
Sometimes that invitation looks like deep rest.
Sometimes it looks like clarity you didn't know you needed.
Sometimes it's just a quiet hour where nothing is expected of you, and that alone is the medicine.
Why Tamraght
I could do this work anywhere.
But there's something about this edge of Morocco, this liminal space where the earth meets the ocean that amplifies what's possible.
Tamraght sits in the threshold. It's a place solo travellers come to surf, to slow down, to shake off whatever they've been carrying. Digital nomads land here for the wifi and stay for the way time moves differently.
It's not polished. It's not trying to be anything other than what it is.
And that's exactly why it works for this kind of healing.
When you're in a place that's comfortable with transitions, with the in-between, your body relaxes into its own process. You're not performing wellness. You're just being.
What Happens in a Session
If you've never experienced sound healing before, here's what to expect:
You arrive. We talk briefly, just enough for me to understand where you are and what you need.
Then you lie down. Close your eyes. Let your body settle onto the earth.
I begin to play.
The sounds move through the space, through your body. You don't need to do anything. You don't need to "receive it right" or focus in a particular way.
You just breathe.
For 60 to 90 minutes, the only job you have is to be present. To notice. To let your nervous system recalibrate at its own pace.
Some people fall asleep. Some people cry. Some people feel nothing at all in the moment and then notice a shift days later.
There's no right way to experience this.
Who This Is For
This work is for people who feel too much.
For solo female travellers who came to Morocco seeking something they can't quite name yet.
For digital nomads whose nervous systems are fried from overstimulation and under-rest.
For anyone navigating a threshold - transition, burnout, or simply the exhaustion of holding it all together for too long.
You don't need to know anything about sound healing to benefit from it. You just need to be willing to lie down and let yourself be held.
Group Sound Baths vs. Private Sessions
I offer both.
Group sound baths are accessible entry points - collective spaces where you can experience this work in community. There's something powerful about resting alongside others, all of you softening together. These sessions happen on rooftops and in intimate venues around Tamraght, starting in March 2025.
Private 1:1 sessions are deeper, more personalised. I come to you - whether that's your hotel, a spa, or a private villa. We tailor the session to your body, your pace, your needs. These are for people who want intimacy and space to go at their own rhythm.
Both are medicine. It just depends on what you need right now.
What This Isn't
I don't promise instant transformation.
I don't bypass the hard stuff or pretend sound can fix everything.
I don't perform spirituality or use language that sounds enlightened but means nothing.
What I do offer is a grounded, regulated presence. A container where your body can finally feel safe enough to rest. And the space to remember who you are beneath all the noise.
That's it.
That's the work.
How to Experience Sound Healing in Tamraght
I'm launching in March 2025.
If you're in Morocco this spring or summer—or planning to be—join the Tamraght Ocean List. You'll receive session dates, private availability, and quiet updates as we build.
No noise. Just the information you need when you need it.
This work is for those ready to meet themselves with care.
If that's you, I'll see you on the coast.
